Please say a prayer/make dua for my friends in Bombay/Mumbai

A wave of terror was unleashed this night in Bombay.

Before we moved to Egypt, we were based in Bombay/Mumbai for 2 years. We have a lot of friends and family in the city.

The terror attacks were concentrated around the business district of South Bombay where a lot of our friends were working late, living or eating out after office hours.

4 hours of terror: grenades, machine guns, explosions have left over 80 dead (last count, sure to go up) and many more, wounded.

We have not yet been able to get in touch with a lot of our friends. Please pray for the safety of our friends and the people in Mumbai (residents and visitors) - innocents who were caught in the crossfire for no fault of theirs but for the fact that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thank you.

May those who died there rest in peace, and may God give those who live the patience and strength to overcome the pain and sadness.
My heart is truly with you Kim.

Thank you for your kind words and prayers.
The hostage situation is still continuing in 2 locations.

Its just emotionally devastating and I don't have the strength to even write coherently.

Family and friends have been telling us how they have been barricaded inside their homes in the area to prevent the terrorists with access into their buildings.

Its absolutely horrible to hear and see (on the news) what is going on.

My Grandmothers sister lives in the building which has a common wall with Nariman House (the 3rd location)
An old couple in their building were shot dead when they peeped outside their windows. My grand-aunt and her family spent the last 50 hours praying and trying to answer calls.

Fortunately this location is now secure.

Another friends fiancee was not so lucky. He did not survive the shooting. Their wedding was fixed for next week.
